Hog Roast Billericay caters for Garden Party!

Central - event3At Hog Roast Billericay, we love to see people smiling as they enjoy our tasty food and at Hattie and Jon’s family party recently, it was certainly no exception. Hattie and Jon had attended a party that we catered in the recent past and then booked this one themselves, asking us to provide a centre-piece hog roast, together with a selection of potato and salad dishes, for their springtime party at home. It’s always a great compliment when we have other customer’s guests book us for their own parties, of course.

To ensure the hog was cooked in plenty of time for an afternoon feast, Hog Roast Billericay arrived at the venue in the morning to set up our equipment in the back garden and start prepping the meat for its roasting. There were dozens of guests invited, including about 65 adults and 10 children, with several vegetarians too. We want all of our customers and their guests to enjoy our food, no matter their dietary need or personal choice, which is why we have plenty of options for vegetarians, vegans, and gluten-free guests. Veggies can enjoy options like stuffed mushrooms or peppers, quiche or burgers, and if you’re gluten-free, you can even eat the same pigs in buns as everyone else at a party – just with your own gluten-free bread rolls or wraps, and no one even needs to know. If you have any other kind of requirements for your planned function, like a guest with a different kind of intolerance or allergy, please let us know in advance so that we can ensure everyone invited is fed some of our tasty, fresh, homemade food.

By 3pm, our team at Hog Central - event - buckingRoast Billericay were just about ready to serve, after being busy slicing off bits of crunchy, salty crackling and carving into the fresh, hot, meat to fill trays, dishing up our homemade apple sauce and sage and onion stuffing, slicing floury bread rolls and preparing fresh salad dishes. Once the green leaves, cherry tomatoes, and homemade coleslaw had been freshly put together and the condiments were all set, so were we, and we served plenty of hungry guests lots of lovely food.
