Hog Roast Cramlington: Bohemian Barn Wedding!

It’s always massive a privilege for Hog Roast Cramlington when we are asked by couples to cater for their weddings, and recently we attended a bohemian barn affair in the countryside in celebration of Elliot and Chelsey’s marriage!

Hog Roast CramlingtonTo match the on-trend rustic theme they had chosen for their nuptials, the pair had asked us to deliver an irresistible banquet, featuring dishes from the southern slow roast menu, which over the years, has come to be known as a Hog Roast Cramlington speciality. Offering a large collection of homely, American-inspired dishes, this classic catering option is ideal for all sorts of different occasions, and with so many gorgeous flavours to choose from, even the fussiest guests are sure to find something they’ll love.

For Elliot and Chelsey, who had spent months planning for a cosy, intimate-style ceremony, this menu matched their needs to a tee, and on top of that, they also had a lot of fun picking out dishes for the day! Handling every detail of their catering plan with absolute ease, our catering manager ensured the entire booking process was smooth and stress-free from start to finish, which filled the couple with confidence before the big day went ahead.

The day of the wedding finally arrived last week, and with the temperature stooping to single digits, Hog Roast Cramlington arrived on-site even earlier than usual to prepare the meal ahead of time. Our trusty HogMaster made short work of cooking all three meat options; BBQ pork butt, Texan 24 hour beef brisket and fall off the bone Louisiana sticky pork ribs, which were accompanied by buttery corn cobettes, Memphis style crunchy coleslaw, mac and cheese and Greek salad with the addition of freshly-baked gluten-free rolls and flatbreads.

Newlyweds, Chelsey and Elliot were instantly impressed when our team presented them with the spread, and without a moment’s hesitation the guests queued up to get their fill. After devouring the tasty feast (and extra helpings too!), the wedding party gathered around the bonfire to roast smores and sing songs while the catering crew discreetly cleared away the messy plates and loaded up the van.
