Hog Roast Brill – Feeling the Heat with Outside Catering

Hog Roast BrillWith yet another heatwave hitting around the country it felt only right that many of our events this past week would switch their dining to an outdoor service. Hog Roast Brill are more than able to accommodate outdoor catering; in fact, if the weather was more dependable here and persisted year-round then by ideal conditions Hog Roast Brill would likely primarily be an outdoor caterer anyway. The hog roast, for one, is a dish that is typically thought of as an outdoor dish on account of its more spectacular cooking style, making full use of the outdoor elements to let the spit flourish in all its incredible fiery and aromatic brilliance. Our mobile roasters do allow us to be versatile and move this dish indoors, but if it came to argument we would probably prefer to get the hog roast in its natural element outdoors every time!

To change for outdoor service is of no issue then for us. We’ve been in catering long enough to know that you have to be flexible to changes since by the very nature of the industry everything is always moving. Customers want the best for their events, and sometimes that can come at a moments notice to change, so our model of working is always built around adaptability here at Hog Roast Brill.

For events this week we simply needed to set up a space outdoors for our marquee tent and covering to sit so that guests could sit outdoors without roasting in the sun (our food is the only thing that should be getting roasted here!). The same goes for the food: our catering manager prefers to give a little shade to our prep and cooking areas so that food isn’t being spoilt under the sun and remains fresh right up to serving – our chefs like to feel the heat in the kitchen, but not that kind! This just ensures better tastes in every one of our dishes because such intense heat from the elements can ruin a perfectly good dish quite easily. We’re all about freshness and maximum tastiness here at Hog Roast Brill.

Summer may be close to an end, but if the weather persists then Hog Roast Brill will be ready for even more outdoor events to come!
