A Saturday Wedding Feast – Hog Roast Aycliffe

While we’re all trying to get accustomed to the new normal, catering events are still going ahead at full speed, as our customers still have the need to provide delicious food for various occasions. It may be that you planned a large wedding and you’ve had to trim down the guest list but that doesn’t mean your reception meal can’t feature the same gorgeous dishes that you planned on, and with Hog Roast Aycliffe, no matter what you’re organising, we’ve got you covered.

Hog Roast AycliffeWe have several wedding menus to choose from for your big day, ranging from informal get-togethers with a few family members to a posh function with the maximum number of guests allowed. Either way, we cater with the same lovely options, made from high-quality, fresh, local ingredients, including the meat that we buy from trusted suppliers, and with the same excellent service and attention each and every time.

You may prefer a simple albeit mouthwatering Hog Roast Aycliffe hog roast for your special day, either made into pigs in buns or a sit-down meal together with all the trimmings, potatoes and seasonal vegetables, but if you prefer spit-roasted turkey, lamb, beef or chicken, we can easily do that instead. You may fancy a barbecue of 100% beef burgers and chef’s special sausages or a special standalone menu like our Southern Slow Roast or Loaded Fries, and your wish is our command! Plus If you’re inviting guests on special diets, like vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free, just let us know when you book and we’ll help you to decide on the best, freshly-made alternatives to serve on the day.

For a wedding that Hog Roast Aycliffe catered on Saturday, we were asked to provide a multi-course menu, featuring starters and mains, which would be followed by the couple’s own wedding cake. To start, we served fresh homemade tomato soup with crusty bread rolls and Parma ham with a new potato and walnut salad, accompanied by an apricot dressing, followed by mains of halloumi and vegetable wraps and pigs in buns. Both carnivores and vegetarians loved our food, clearly seen by the empty plates, and then we left them to enjoy the wedding cake and dance the night away with the bride and groom.
