Spring Hog Roasts

Finally we are having some spring like weather here in the Cotswolds. It makes a pleasant change to get up in the morning and not be greeted by yet another frost. If we have a lunchtime pig roast then allowing 6 hours for a pig to cook and travelling time we are quite often up and about at 4/5am. In the depths of winter it’s quite difficult to put a toe out of bed but once the weather improves and the mornings get lighter it’s always nice to be up and about early.
