When the client, Albert, approached Hog Roast Poundon a few weeks ago and asked if we could take the reins on an important corporate event, we knew we were in for a challenge, but that certainly didn’t stop us from snapping up his offer!
The event was being held in celebration of a massive company merger, which saw Albert’s company partner with another business in a similar industry. To help the staff get to know each other and mark an end to months of legal proceedings, it was agreed that a party was in order, which saw more than 500 people come together last Friday afternoon, where they enjoyed great company, lively music and phenomenal food.
For Hog Roast Poundon’s catering crew, events of this scale are as testing as they are thrilling, and we are glad to say that we managed to exceed everyone’s expectations! Our Southern Slow Roast Menu was an instant hit with the guests, who had lots of positive things to say about the flavours of the Deep South-inspired dishes we served at this event. They were also impressed with our selection of meat-free options, which made everyone feel taken care of.
