Hog Roast Oxford caters at The Cliveden House Hotel!

This was another event on the same day as the Surveyor’s Rugby Sevens. A slightly smaller affair for 300 guests. This was an event that was set up with the chefs from The  Lygon Arms in Broadway . They had a plan to put a taste of the Cotswolds at the Cliveden House. Also the other hotels in the group were displaying their local produce. We were joined by Chewton Glen and 11, Cadogan Gardens in Chelsea.

The Cliveden was used by Meghan Markle’s  family for guests at the recent royal wedding. This was a day of showing off an exhibition of sculptures , hence why there were plenty of celebs.

Our Hog Roast Oxford chef was joined by chefs from The Lygon Arms in Broadway. They – Hadyn and Ales had put together a theme of the Cotswolds and so they were accompanied by our local gin Distillery which happens to be in the village. It’s a great little distillery which sells its Whisky and Gin all over the country and even in M&S.

The weather was a little unkind with sudden downpours but guests persevered and the Cotswold lamb was well received by some of the stars – Jason Leonard, Chris Evans, Sir Clive Woodward and even a radio dj –wahay!

Despite being a long day it was all worthwhile with compliments flying for Hog Roast Oxford.
