Recently, Sabrina announced her engagement to her long-term partner, Michael, which, of course, called for a massive celebration! Once again, Hog Roast Oving was asked to take care of the cooking side of things and trusting that Craig and Catrina knew her tastes well enough by now, Sabrina left us to come up with the perfect meal plan for the event.

Taking the client’s budget and chosen venue (a function hall in a snazzy hotel) into consideration, our team quickly settled on our Hog Roast Dining Experience Menu, which couldn’t have been more fitting for the occasion. Offering a drinks service and a canapé selection to arriving guests, followed by a delicious two-course meal, this premium menu exudes luxury and class – perfect for the style of Sabrina’s engagement party!

Hog Roast OvingDetermined to live up to expectations, Hog Roast Oving arrived at the venue long before the guests began to appear. Using their time wisely, Craig and Catrina expertly prepared the hog roast, turkey option and BBQ-pulled jackfruit rolls, along with salads, new potatoes and mixed fries, and cheesecake and chocolate torte desserts. For the canapes, our team quickly rustled up a platter of smoked Scottish salmon, roasted halloumi and tomato crostini, roasted duck, mini quiche, mini pizza and chicken satay skewers.

Hog Roast Oving’s  exceptional time-keeping skills meant that the entire spread was ready in time for the arrival of the first guests – and like all those who followed, they were instantly blown away by the flavours!

Sabrina was, once again, rendered speechless by the presentation, aromatic fragrances and indulgent flavours of the food, which appealed to everyone’s taste buds. Most of all, she was grateful for our team’s help, which allowed her to enjoy the lead-up to the celebration with zero stress.
