Joe and his fiancé are looking forward to getting married this summer as they have always dreamed of having an outdoor wedding with the sun shining on them! The couple has found a beautiful venue on the coast, with a beachside entrance and space indoors or outdoors for catering, depending on how reliable the weather is. As well as planning the venue, the couple are also in the process of planning the catering for their 70 guests. Joe reached out to Hog Roast Fringford to hire us to cater for the occasion with a classic hog roast followed by a dessert course. Our catering is sure to be a great addition to this reception and we got to work on planning the ideal menu for the occasion.
In preparation for this wedding, we are planning on setting up our catering station on the beach, which will give us plenty of space to prepare the menu. We will begin by slow-roasting the hog and ensuring that it is cooked to perfection when it will be expertly carved and served in fresh bread rolls. Alongside the rolls, we will also be providing sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For the side dishes, guests will enjoy homemade chips and a selection of salad dishes, creating a varied and balanced main meal.
For the dessert course, Hog Roast Fringford will be serving profiteroles and sticky toffee pudding, alongside English cream and fresh berries. Both options are delicious and are bound to go down a treat after the main course! We are looking forward to catering for this event in the summer and being a part of such a special occasion!
