Hog Roast Bampton

Saturday May 31st  was a busy day with a wedding in Bampton.

Luckily the rain held off and our bride and groom had a warm and dry if slightly overcast day. The event was held in a marquee in hog roast Bampton. Bampton is small little village that can also be known as  Bampton-in-the-Bush. Its very uncommon in such a little village to still have two public telephone boimage(1)xes that are “Jubilee” models in the same village.

Canapés and fizz were served before the wedding meal with the guests able to chat and enjoy the cricket ground . The flowers were exquisite in radiant shades of purple and orange and the whole marquee looked amazing. The guests enjoyed a starter of smoked salmon and salmon terrine followed by a main course of succulent roast pig and spit roasted chickens. Speeches and dancing followed until late  and our team eventually arrived back at 11pm.

Arriving back home late, we cleaned down the machine ready for our next hog roast outing!
