Christmas and new year hog roasting in Adderbury

Well what fun it has been in the build up to Christmas. There were a few hairy moments when I thought the snow might cause us a problem. It was not to be. We all managed to get to every event, and delivery all machines for hire.

There were certainly moments in the early morning that the weather looked as if it would get the better of us, but with a little care and determination we arrived pretty well on time, We always ensured that we achieved the right serve time. There were several occasions when Companies wanted to use us as a model example of dedication to the cause. This was never a problem since the Christmas Caterers are a bit like Santa Claus. Once a year and always on time with plenty of wonderful surprises.

We have certainly enjoyed all the parties. It has been a pleasure to leave everyone revelling and with some getting well into the Christmas spirit.

Turkeys have been a little smaller this year, with Stag turkeys harder to come by. This has meant that we have an extra turkey on the spit. It all works well. In fact it is a little easier in that they are quicker to cook.

I have been pleasantly surprised that weddings still pop up over the Festive season. It often means that we travel a little further sometimes. This week we delivered a machine to Adderbury where a hotel needed an extra machine for one of their parties.

New Year’s eve will take us to hog roast Adderbury again for a hog roast for a wedding. We have also added bacon sandwiches and some freshly made Pork and Leek sausages. One of our staff works at the abattoir and produces an excellent range. This also makes it easier if we want any special variety with whatever twist is needed.
