Friday saw a visit to Maidstone for the first part of a 2 day Spit roasted pig and spit roasted chicken job. We travelled there again on Saturday, and also to a 60th birthday party near Reading. Another pig and canapés for the birthday girl’s guests which was pronounced absolutely delicious. Another team from Spitting Pig Buckinghamshire went to a local wedding with a pig roast for 90 invitees. On Sunday we had a lamb roast for a small gathering of 50 people for a christening near Banbury. We served this with roasted new potatoes and a selection of seasonal veggies.
