A Busy Month In Chadlington

September is such a busy month for us and this month we have been in Chadlington 3 times already and we have another booked here for bonfire weekend. On Sunday we were catering for a horse show and we are all animal lovers especially horses so as you can imagine we had been looking forward to this for some time! Catering on the farm under a huge gazebo and we had the freshest meats pig and beef were put onto the machines and we got to work preparing the vegetable kebabs ads we waited for the guests to arrive, soon the field was filled with people and horses and hog roast hire had the meat sizzling just nicely and we then got the nod to start serving plates buns and meat at the ready! And we were off it literally is like that as soon as the meat is cooked we are manic carving and serving people are just drawn to us by the smell and who can blame them to be fair! The pork was so moist and firm and it really did just fall apart when it was cut the beef to just melted when placed on the tongue so juicy and we have came such a long way in perfecting the meat we pride our selves as being first class professional caterers and we have worked so hard to get where we are today. When everyone had ate it was time for the presentation and the bit we were really looking forward to the horses galloped and walked proudly for all to see as the judges inspected each horse and marked their results down on a clipper board then they read out the results and handed out the rosettes and there was so many proud horse owners who we could see had put so much care and effort into their horses and they really were a picture of health. As the crowds began to drift home we cleared away and loaded the van and got chatting to a few horse owners who where clearly over joyed  at their win we congratulated them as we left and felt ever so pleased to have played a small part in the day…
