Well may only be mid-January but Hog Roast Mursley have not wasted any time in getting this year off to a flyer. We’ve been full steam ahead from the word go as we all return to work, delivering our favourite customers exceptional catered dining for their January events. One such customer in these past 2 weeks was Georgina who called us for our corporate catering services for her self-run cosmetics firm. Georgina had caught the Christmas roasting bug and was still craving some of that excellent meat roast goodness. As for her small office team of 13 she told us that a lot of them had unfortunately had to miss out on their staff Christmas dinner plans in December through one reason or another, so she thought it would only be right to make amends by organising a belated dinner for the whole team. Who could both satisfy the roast cravings and deliver an excellent corporate catered service to the office? Well Hog Roast Mursley of course!
The dinner plans were held as a surprise to the team, so while Georgina scheduled a meeting for 4pm and instructed the team that work may go slightly long the Hog Roast Mursley team covertly arrived to site and got to cooking and setting up in another room so that all could be ready for the surprise. With Christmas in mind we had a turkey slow roasted in the same process as our hog roast, which was also present. These were served with a fresh seasonal veg mix, a Caesar salad, our homemade pigs in blankets, homemade sage and onion stuffing, and of course plenty of roast potatoes. We cooked all dishes fresh at the office and had all laid out on our serving tables so that when the office team were eventually invited in everything was already ready to serve and looked magnificent laid out for the surprise too. Our roasts could be served straight off the spit too for added freshness and yumminess!
It proved to be an excellent belated Christmas dinner for the whole team and Georgina was delighted to be able to take some of the roast leftovers home too to satisfy those cravings long into the week!
