Wedding Fair at Latimer Place.
The event was an early start, well, not too bad for the world of Hog Roasting. The event was in Latimer. The venue was one that Hog Roast Latimer have done many events at and hence why it was important to reinforce and support the wedding fair. I arrived at 6.30 to set up and as always I set up in the usual place . The staff were inquisitive but essentially left me to get on with everything. After a quick breakfast it was time to look sharp as other exhibitors turned up and set up inside. As always it turned out that I was the only exhibitor outside, and it was not the best weather for it. On the way down it had been snowing, however the sun was out. On this occasion the serve time was going to be very different. As future brides and grooms and their families arrived they cautiously ventured out. They were drawn by the Hog Roast Latimer aroma and could see that there was food on offer. Once a few people gathered it immediately attracted more, and soon there was queue. It was wonderfully rewarding as guests commented that it was the best they had ever had. Furthermore there were many who were promising to book, and for some reason wanting me to do it for them! Must be mad.At around 3.30 pm there was a mass exodus with exhibitors packing up. I expected to be the last to leave, but surprisingly not. Now that guests had left people were asking for ‘goody bags’. Soon all the food had gone and it was off to base.
