We have been surprisingly busy in January, about twice as much as last year, which bodes well for the forthcoming months. No rest for the wicked!
We had two jobs on, one locally, which made it really nice and easy for the chef who lives nearby to travel to. The event I was doing was at Hog Roast WhittleBury.
Since we had had a cold spell recently I was all ready for a chilling experience expecting the roads to be icy, fortunately all was clear and the weather was much milder than expected.
Fortunately I arrived in good time and got set up at Hog Roast Whittlebury.
The event was to raise money for a well known charity.
Everything was on time and all the various activities raised a lot of money. All went well and there was even talk of doing it all again next year. Brilliant!
The journey home was most bizarre, instead of going through, the Sat Nav took me a different way to what I know. Fortunately I put faith in the ‘guide’ and was soon back at base and unloaded.
