This February, Holly is hosting a rom-com movie night for her friendship group to enjoy at her home in Buckinghamshire. She has the perfect set-up, with a home theatre complete with a projector screen and more than enough cosy seating options for her friends to settle into. To make the occasion extra special, she has hired Hog Roast Milton Keynes to cater for the occasion with our classic hog roast menu, accompanied by a few extras. Our catering managers Craig and Catrina worked with Holly to create the perfect menu for her guest list to ensure that there is a perfect dish for everyone. Overall, this is set to be the perfect ‘Galentine’s’ event, with the group voting on their favourite rom-coms to watch whilst they enjoy some great food.
In preparation for this event, Craig and Catrina are planning to arrive at Holly’s home in the morning to ensure that we have plenty of time to prepare the menu freshly for the 6:00pm serving time. We will begin with the hog, which requires around five hours to roast to perfection. Alternatively, the guests can enjoy halloumi and vegetable skewers or marinated chicken kebabs. The main dishes will be served in fresh bread rolls and accompanied by homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, and a fresh green leaf salad. Overall, this will create an incredibly varied menu, with plenty to allow every guest to create their perfect evening meal.
