Mid Season Hog Roasts, Cookham Dene.

We’re now nearly in the middle of the season and plenty of work left. Friday was a repeat job which was easy enough with many happy punters, it was teachers doing a variety of activities. Once back it was unload and load the weekend jobs. Although we were also waiting for an Olde Bell  job to return and reload.
Saturday was up early to get to hog roast Cookham Dene, just round the corner from Pinkneys Green. Chris the client was insistent of best quality rolls.  He had colleagues coming from the Savoy In London.  We of course obliged, since we sometimes use a French baker. Patric and Patricia run the bakery. Patric was trained at the Waterside in Bray. The best.
Saturday saw three other jobs go out + a late one at the Olde Bell in Hurley. This time it was a BBQ for 120 guests. We were offering freshly cooked pure beef burgers and Thai Chicken with chilli, lemongrass and nam plas. It was well received although serving at 11 pm was probably a bit late. I finally got to bed at 2.00am. A long day,  but rewarding.
