Father’s Day isn’t just a day – it’s a celebration of all the amazing dads out there who go above and beyond to make our lives extraordinary. And, this year, Hog Roast Cublington had the privilege of joining forces with a local church to host a Father’s Day shindig that was nothing short of spectacular!
This highly-anticipated event was held on the church grounds, and thankfully the weather was on its best behaviour with sun-splitting skies and soaring temperatures. Dozens of families gathered to celebrate and share in the spirit of gratitude and appreciation for the dads in their lives.
The church was transformed into a hub of activity, with a cluster of dining tables set up in festive Father’s Day decorations and banners proudly declaring love for all the dads out there. But the real excitement lay in the array of activities and entertainment that awaited guests.
One of the highlights of the event was the series of raffles held throughout the day, featuring an impressive selection of donated gifts from local businesses and generous community members. From gift baskets and vouchers to handmade crafts and baked goods, there was something for everyone to get excited about – and, to top it off, all profits raised went to charity!
As always, though, no celebration is ever complete without delicious food, and that’s where Hog Roast Cublington came in. We were proud to present our Alfresco Menu to the crowds, and it quickly became the talk of the town!
Comprising a whole hog roast with all the trimmings, soft rolls and wraps, plus condiments and dips, guests were able to customise the flavours to their liking. We also provided grilled vegetable kebabs with optional halloumi, as well as a variety of scrumptious sides, such as coleslaw and heritage tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad.
This spectacular spread also featured antipasti platters brimming with Italian cold cuts, fine cheeses and artisan breads, which the guests couldn’t get enough of! Hog Roast Cublington concluded this feast with a delicious dessert buffet featuring luxurious profiteroles and decadent cheesecakes.
Our team of bubbly and approachable caterers ensured that every guest felt welcome and valued at this event, adding an extra layer of warmth and hospitality to the festivities.
