Hog Roast Beckenham.

It was a  busy day with jobs mostly in London. I had the furthest in Beckenham. Fortunately the traffic was not too bad with the usual Saturday morning congestion.  However I managed to arrive with plenty of time to set up. The weather seemed to be the main issue with thunder and lightning. The party revelers were particularly concerned, quite naturally. I managed to keep myself dry and the forecast was encouraging. I was in touch with the others and the weather was much the same.
The host and I chatted most of the afternoon about holidays in the Caribbean. Great reminiscing of holidays from last year. We had bizarrely been in Barbados at the same time. This time I had the pleasure of a band setting up next to me. Fortunately they were good, but had the same problem with the rain. We both coped. I managed to make salads whilst the hog roast Beckenham piggy was roasting away. Guests were at 7.30 and food at 8.15. It was a request that I was done and dusted with the hog roast Beckenham by 9.30. Not a problem. ..However the hardest part was that it started to rain as the music started and everyone gravitated to my gazebo as I was dismantling! It just made it harder to get  cleared up. It didn’t take long, however I then had the streets and traffic lights of London to negotiate. Soon home and happy with a hard day’s work.
