Last Sunday our team at Hog Roast Quainton were proud to be a part of the Quirky Wedding Fayre at the Buckinghamshire Railway Centre.The Quirky Wedding fair is all about embracing all things unique, which is a value we share with the hosts of the event. Surrounded by historic trains and vintage vibes, this wedding fayre is anything but ordinary, couples were free to ditch the traditional rulebook and plan celebrations bursting with personality.
We were more than excited to be there representing Hog Roast Quainton, chatting with excited engaged couples, fellow suppliers, and anyone who followed the irresistible smell of good food straight to our stand.
It wouldn’t be an event with our team without getting to taste the delicious food we can provide. That’s why we had a range of antipasti samples on offer, tasty cured meats, flaky pastries, and fresh fruit, crowd-pleasing bites that got people chatting and imagining their own wedding day feast. Watching couples engage with us as they tried the selection (and come back for “just one more”) was easily one of our highlights.
A frequent compliment we love to hear is the flexibility of our services and at Hog Roast Quainton, we don’t believe weddings should come in one standard flavour. We know that every couple is different, so we went to honour that and ensure all menus are too. We always ensure that we can create affordable experiences without compromising on the quality or portion sizes and that no matter what your guests dietary requirements may be, they are fully catered for without feeling like an after thought.
One of the things we adore about this event is its ethos. The organisers have handpicked the perfect bunch of creative and inclusive wedding suppliers who bring something fresh, fun, and unique to the table. From venue suppliers, photographers and There’s no judgement, no pressure and throughout the event there was a feeling of genuine excitement and inspiration to help couples plan a wedding that’s 100% them.
Exhibiting last Sunday reminded us why we love what we do, amazing food, great people, and celebrations that don’t take themselves too seriously. We want to say a huge thanks to everyone who stopped by, sampled, chatted, and shared their wedding plans with us.
