Julia is getting married in spring this year and has just enjoyed the perfect hen party with her best friends. The hen party was organised by Lianne, her maid of honour, who has been her best friend since secondary school. Julia and Lianne had been discussing their dream weddings for over a decade now, so planning the perfect hen party was easy! Lianne organised a stay in a luxurious log cabin, complete with a private hot tub, and she hired Hog Roast Wendover to provide a delicious meal for the guests to enjoy whilst they relax. For the menu, our catering managers Craig and Catrina were tasked with creating a menu that would be hearty and filling, and still taste incredibly special and luxurious.
On the day of the catering, the Hog Roast Wendover team arrived at the private venue in the morning and got to work on preparing the perfect menu for the guests to enjoy. We prepared a succulent hog, which was slow-roasted on-site and served alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. Additionally, we served halloumi and vegetable skewers, marinated chicken kebabs, homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, corn cobettes, a green leaf salad, and a tomato and mozzarella salad. Overall, this combined to create an incredible menu and was the perfect addition to Julia’s amazing hen party celebrations!
