We were west of the country on Saturday to a village we had never been before and the views when we did arrive were amazing! A little leafy village with great landscapes and we were lucky enough to be catering out doors for a festival, we were so excited as we had never catered for a festival before either so we didn’t really know what to expect, Hog roast brought two pigs and quickly got them cooking upon arrival we also brought with us a mountain of jacket potatoes and lots of fillings these always go down well and are a welcome sight at events people simply cannot get enough. We got speaking to the proprietor and he was very impressed at the sight of the pig and had never seen a pig roasting before and he couldn’t wait to taste it along with the others in the long queue who had gathered as we were chatting all eager to eat the meat too! We carved the meat and we could see the mouths were watering and as quickly as it was carved and out into the buns it was snatched away! The music was s good and we found our selves tapping our feet as we served the food and the atmosphere really was something! When the day was over we cleaned our machines down and placed all the rubbish in the bins we always leave a tidy area whenever we cater and think it is so important to make a good impression and we never fail, we felt in such high spirits as we drove home and all agreed that the village was so nice and we all said we would love to live there. We have a wedding next weekend and we have been looking forward to that for such a long time a grand affair catering for one thousand at a stately home top and tails event and people arriving from all over the country we are so excited for that to we have been ever so excited lately, not many jobs make you feel like that to be fair!
