On to Dedington for a job to celebrate a completed building project. The spit roasted Dedington hog , apple sauce, stuffing and baps went down a treat with the builders who had worked on the building. A wonderful way to say thank you for a job well done. Dedington castle was transformed into a “little gothic castle” by Horace Walpole between 1747 and 1792 and is now part of Surrey University. The restoration work is funded by the Lottery and it was marvellous to see such an innovative use of lottery funds.
