On Saturday one of our wedding teams travelled to the Earth Trust centre in hog roast Little Wittenham about 11 miles from Oxford. For years the local landscape has been dominated by the three chimneys of the Power station, one of which has very recently been demolished, which must be a source of pleasure for the local inhabitants. Fisons Barn at Little Wittenham is a stunning 19th Century barn clad in red cedar, with marvellous green credentials- a biomass boiler, solar panels and harvested rainwater.
We served up a delicious sizzling spit roasted pig, and a barbecue with burgers and sausages made to our own special recipe. There was Caesar salad, coleslaw, cherry tomatoes with red onion and feta salad and jacket wedges to accompany the various meats. Desserts followed provided by the bride and groom.
Hog roast Little Wittenham was thoroughly loved by all, and the customers were left feeling really happy.
