When it comes to your wedding, they call it your special day. But it is never quite just a day, nor should it be! You’ve got rehearsal dinners the night before, hen and stag dos, the post wedding brunch with close friends and family, and then of course the honeymoon. But even after all that, it often still doesn’t quite feel enough somehow. Why restrict it to a special day, we say at Roast Bromsgrove, when you could be keeping the celebrations going long after. After all, it’s not every day you get married!
Fortunately, we’re not the only ones thinking this. Last weekend the Hog Roast Bromsgrove team were delighted to work alongside Lousie, who arranged our specialist wedding catering for her daughter’s wedding. The catch? The wedding was actually two weeks earlier. This was just an after party for friends and family at Louise’s house. Why not, we say! Keep the love and joy of a wedding going for as long as possible, especially if there are some people that wouldn’t have been able to make the more “official” celebrations on the big day itself.
There’s often so much going on during your wedding day that it might be a little difficult to fully enjoy it. Coming back two weeks later for the party means the pressure is eased by then, allowing the bride and groom to actually just relax and take in the whole celebration. Plus, with Hog Roast Bromsgrove around, what’s better than one wedding dinner, but two!
For the belated celebrations, head chef Craig prepared a brilliant al fresco dining menu. This is a menu that is made for bright atmosphere and sunny days. It’s a relaxed menu, but it’s no less extravagant and stylish. Our grazing table, for one, adds a brilliant backdrop to your event, as colour and taste comes flying off the table through an incredible arrangement of fine Italian meats, cheeses, artisanal breads, and assorted salad items. Then served along with our signature hog roast, grilled veg and halloumi skewers, roasted new potatoes, tomato and mozzarella salad, mixed greens, and creamy slaw, it’s the perfect menu for the wedding afters!
